Here is a step-by-step guide to the application process.
Complete the online application form. This covers questions about your educational and employment history as well as questions that assess your suitability for the apprenticeship scheme. Some voluntary diversity monitoring questions are also included.
You will need to provide 200 word answers to the following two questions, and you may wish to prepare your answers before you submit your application:
- Please explain what attracted you to working at HM Land Registry and in particular the apprentice scheme?
- Describe a time when you have been proactive in developing yourself/your skills.
To be eligible you must be able to provide evidence of your GCSE qualifications before we can invite you to an interview.
Upload scanned copies of your GCSE or equivalent qualification documentation. HM Land Registry understands that you might not have your GCSE or equivalent qualification documents to hand - you'll have another opportunity to upload them later.
You must upload them before the interview. Make sure you take necessary action to get this information ready before your interview.
Wait to hear if you’ve been shortlisted (you’ll hear by email, so keep checking). If you have been shortlisted you will need to complete an online verbal reasoning test. You will have three days to complete the online test.
If you are successful at the online test you will be invited to attend a final assessment stage in June 2017 at the HM Land Registry offices in either Durham, Gloucester or Telford. Further details will be provided in your invitation email.
